American Softball teams excelled with 17 wins, highlighted by Megan Morris`s standout performance for St. Edward`s University.

American Softball teams showcased their prowess over the weekend, racking up 17 wins across various tournaments. Florida Atlantic University led the charge with impressive victories, including an 11-8 win over LIU and an 8-5 triumph against Stetson. South Florida also made headlines with a nail-biting 5-4 victory over Michigan, while North Texas dominated Yale with a commanding 12-0 win.

Arizona State University`s Softball team continued its strong performance in the Kajikawa Classic, defeating Maryland 7-1 and Miami (OH) 15-7, although they faced a setback in a rematch against Miami (OH) with a 12-4 loss. The Sun Devils also secured wins against California and Oregon, setting the stage for their upcoming ASU Invitational.

St. Edward`s University shone brightly as Megan Morris led her team to a 10-1 victory over Western New Mexico, hitting two home runs and driving in four RBIs. The Hilltoppers` starting pitcher, Lisette Urquidez, retired the first 11 batters, showcasing a strong defensive effort.

Loyola Marymount University struggled with a mixed record of 6-10, recently achieving a 12-2 win over Southern University but falling to Nevada 5-4. The team offers free admission to fans, except for their sold-out game against the University of Oklahoma.
