Team USA showcased its prowess at the 2024 FAI World Skydiving Championships in Beaufort, North Carolina, clinching an impressive seven gold medals across various disciplines. The event, held from October 5 to 11, attracted nearly 300 competitors, making it the largest skydiving competition of the year. The favorable weather conditions allowed for the completion of all rounds, leading to multiple record-breaking performances.

In the Wingsuit Performance events, Alexey Galda from the USA excelled, earning gold in both distance and time, while Danny White dominated the speed event. The acrobatic competition was won by the team FlatSpin, comprising Jeffrey Harrigan, Nicholas Maieritsch, and Travis Mickle. Notably, Amelia Dunaway set three female records, including the FAI North American records for greatest horizontal distance and longest time, along with an Illinois state record for fastest speed.

Australia also made its mark, securing four gold medals in Wingsuit Flying, particularly in the Performance and National Teams categories. The championships were marked by the breaking of nine FAI World Records and 58 Continental Records, underscoring the elite level of competition.
