In the sub-junior boys` category, YAWA-A triumphed over HUDIC, Heingang, with a thrilling score of 2-1 sets. They won the first set 15-12, faced a setback in the second set losing 15-17, but rallied back to clinch the third set 15-8. YAWA-A will now face PUC-A, Kairang, in the final, who advanced after defeating ALSA-A in straight sets (15-8, 15-6).

In the sub-junior girls` category, YAWA-A continued their strong performance, overcoming PUC-B with a score of 2-1 sets (17-16, 10-15, 15-12). They will compete against IMSUC in the final match. Meanwhile, the Philippines has recently claimed a bronze medal in the men`s quadrant competition at the 19th Asian Games, following a challenging loss to Indonesia. This championship showcases the growing popularity and competitive spirit of Sepak Takraw in the region, highlighting the talent of young athletes.
