RFU has not 'sold out' by renaming Twickenham
According to Bill Sweeney, chief executive of the Rugby Football Union, the rebranding of Twickenham as the Allianz Stadium in a sponsorship agreement valued at over £100 million does not constitute a "sold out" move.
Since 1909, Twickenham has served as the home of England men's national team matches. Starting in September, the stadium will go by the name of the insurance firm.
