Wales centre ruptures Achilles tendon

George North has acknowledged that he damaged an Achilles tendon during his final Test game for Wales.

British and Irish Lions back North was helped off the field in the 79th minute of Wales' 24-21 home loss to Italy last Saturday.

With rehabilitation timeframes measured in months, it is doubtful that the 31-year-old will play again for the Ospreys before joining French club Provence this summer.
