Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur has been suspended for seven matches by the English Football Association (FA) for making racist comments about his teammate Son Heung-min during a television interview. The FA initiated proceedings against the Uruguayan international after his remarks in a June interview, resulting in a £100,000 fine. When asked about Son's jersey, Bentancur remarked that it could belong to Son's cousin, implying that Asians all look alike.
