India triumphed in the Kho Kho World Cup 2025, winning both men`s and women`s titles against Nepal.

India made history at the inaugural Kho Kho World Cup 2025, clinching titles in both the men`s and women`s competitions. The men`s final saw India face Nepal at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi, where they secured a convincing 54-36 victory. Captain Pratik Waikar led the team, which remained unbeaten throughout the tournament. Their journey to the final included a challenging semifinal against South Africa, where they triumphed with a score of 62-42, showcasing resilience and teamwork.

In the women`s final, India also emerged victorious, defeating Nepal decisively with a score of 78-40. Skipper Priyanka Ingle guided her team through a dominant tournament, where they won all their group stage matches. The Indian women outclassed Bangladesh in the quarter-finals with a staggering 109-16 score and followed it up with a 66-16 victory over South Africa in the semi-finals. In the final, Priyanka Ingle and Chaithra B played pivotal roles, while Nepal`s Dipa BK attempted to rally her team but ultimately fell short against India`s superior performance.
