Iraq stun Japan to seal Asian Cup knockout spot

Aymen Hussein's double in the first half helped Iraq upset Asian Cup favorites Japan and advance to the knockout stages.

In Qatar's Education City Stadium, Hussein headed the Lions of Mesopotamia ahead after Japan keeper Zion Suzuki mishandled a cross.


And shortly before the break, he headed in another goal, this time from a cross by Ahmed Al-Hajjaj, to double their lead.
