Olga Carmona wants focus after the WC incident

Rubiales, the former president of the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), faced criticism for planting a kiss on Hermoso after their 1-0 victory against England in August. As pressure to step down intensified, Rubiales eventually resigned in September. Hermoso said the kiss was not consensual. After the World Cup, she was left off of the first squad list by new coach Montse Tome, who took over for fired Jorge Vilda, since the 33-year-old needed to be protected. But now she's back in the fold again. The club now wants to concentrate on earning a spot at the 2024 Paris Olympics, according to Carmona, who scored the game-winning goal in the World Cup final.
