Mbappé`s Struggles at Real Madrid Spark PSG Reunion Debate

Kylian Mbappé's transition to Real Madrid has not been as smooth as anticipated since his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. The French forward, who is contracted until 2029, has faced significant challenges in his new role.

Mbappé's struggles were highlighted in Real Madrid's 2-0 loss to Liverpool on Matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League group phase. His El Clásico debut on October 26 was particularly disappointing, with Real Madrid suffering a 4-0 defeat to Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu. Just days later, they lost 3-1 to AC Milan in Champions League action.

Despite scoring in a recent match against Getafe, Mbappé has yet to make a meaningful impact in key games. This has led to speculation about a potential return to PSG. However, not everyone is convinced that such a reunion is likely. Cyril Hanouna, a pundit, expressed a preference for Mbappé to return to PSG, saying, `I'd prefer him to come back to PSG`[1][3].

In contrast, Laurent Perrin, a journalist from Le Parisien, is skeptical about the possibility of Mbappé returning to PSG. Perrin stated, `At PSG or in the stands of the Parc, no one misses him. It was necessary to turn the page—for PSG as much as for him`[1][3].

The debate surrounding Mbappé's future underscores the ongoing challenges he faces in adapting to his new team and the Spanish football environment.
