Pickleball Makes It In Debut in African Games

Pickleball marked its official debut in African sports with its inaugural continental event showcased as a demonstrative sport at the ongoing #africangames in Accra.
Nine countries, including Nigeria, participated in the event, with athletes such as Blessing Omotayo, Olamide Esther, Olayiwola Ifarinde, and Mfon Obot competing across five categories.

Their efforts secured 2 Silver and 3 Bronze medals for Nigeria although it will not reflect on the official medals table.
