This Memorial Day Weekend, the action intensified with several doubles tournaments, including the fiercely contested Memorial Day Weekend Doubles at OakLeaf Village Athletic Center in Orange Park, Florida, and the unique Quickie Fun Tournament at Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Kissimmee, Florida. These events drew enthusiastic crowds, showcasing the growing popularity of pickleball as fans cheered on their favorite teams.

In the midst of this competitive atmosphere, Andrei Daescu shone brightly, marking a significant milestone in his career by clinching his 20th APP Gold Medal. Alongside partner Rob Nunnery, Daescu secured their fifth consecutive APP Men’s Pro Doubles Gold Medal at the APP Indoor Championships in Chicago, solidifying their status as a formidable duo in the sport. Meanwhile, the Palm Beach Pickleball Winter 2025 Flex League concluded with Ken Roeberg and Les Hollander emerging victorious in the Men’s Doubles 3.0-3.5 division, while Mike Brown and Jason triumphed in the 3.5-4.0 division.
