Nike's Shocking Bid Leaves Adidas Boss Stunned

This Friday, the boss of the sports equipment manufacturer Adidas judged “inexplicable” the sum promised by his great rival Nike to win his historic contract with the German football team, in an interview with AFP. According to the German daily Handelsblatt, the American giant has committed to paying at least 100 million euros to the German football federation from 2027, double what Adidas currently pays, which will thus lose a related partner by more than 70 years of common history.
