O'Sullivan wins in China but Brecel out

Ronnie O'Sullivan advanced to the final 16 of the World Open in China, but incumbent world champion Luca Brecel was knocked out.

England's O'Sullivan never trailed on his route to a 5-2 victory over China's Lyu Haotian in the third round.

Belgium's Brecel, who will defend the World Championship in Sheffield next month, was defeated 5-1 by Scotland's Stephen Maguire.
