Neymar paid 150,000 euros to help Dani Alves during his trial

While Dani Alves was found guilty and sentenced to 4 and a half years imprisonment for rape by the Spanish courts, Neymar's father told CNN that he had helped the latter financially. In an interview that dates back to before the judgment was pronounced, Neymar da Silva Santos explained how his son had come to the aid of his friend during his trial. The Brazilian would therefore have sent 150,000 euros to his compatriot to pay “mitigation for the repair of the damage caused”. Just afterward, Gustavo Xisto, the lawyer for the Neymar clan, was appointed to represent Dani Alves during his trial.
