Swiss bobsledder in hospital

Sandro Michel, a Swiss bobsledder, is recovering in hospital after being run over by a sled while training for this weekend's World Cup race in Germany.

Michel was lying on the track after being thrown off a four-man sled that crashed in Altenberg.


He was subsequently run over by the sled, which "was uncontrollably sliding back from the finish area" according to Swiss Sliding.
