Willie Mullins clinches treble on final day

State Man asserted a second On the last day of the Leopardstown Christmas Festival, Matheson Hurdle, under the guidance of trainer Willie Mullins, secured three triumphs.

State Man, still undefeated in Ireland, was led by Paul Townend to win ahead of stablemate Impaire Et Passe.


The triumph highlighted State Man's position as the closest rival to Constitution Hill, the winner of the Cheltenham Champion Hurdle.
