Neeraj Chopra vows to defend Olympic gold in Paris

Olympic and world champion javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra announced on Sunday that he would train overseas in order to be ready for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

"I'm going to start getting ready for the Olympics in Paris, which will require travel. "I'll give it my all to bring home a medal for my nation," the sportsman declared in Panipat, Haryana.

In August of 2023, Neeraj made history as the first Indian athlete to win a gold medal at the World Athletics Championships in Budapest. He had a fantastic season. Neeraj was able to win the historic gold with just his second attempt, which measured 88.17 meters.
