GM Alireza Firouzja showcased his exceptional skills at the 2025 Superbet Rapid & Blitz Poland, defeating GM Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu to tie with GM Vladimir Fedoseev for the lead after Day 2. Both players have amassed 4/6 points in the rapid games, setting the stage for an intense competition as the tournament progresses.

In a remarkable display, GM Aravindh Chithambaram climbed to third place following a brilliant victory over the legendary GM Veselin Topalov. Meanwhile, GMs Levon Aronian and Maxime Vachier-Lagrave also saw their standings improve, adding to the competitive atmosphere of the event.

At the NSK BLIC tournament, FM Dejan Omorjan, FM Milan S Popovic, and FM Ratko Bulajic led the initial rankings, demonstrating the depth of talent present.
