After the first day of competition, Fedoseev boasts an impressive score of 5/6. Hot on his heels are rising stars Alireza Firouzja and Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu, each with a score of 4/6.

This thrilling tournament is being held at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, showcasing not only top-tier chess but also the rich cultural heritage of Poland. The event features a substantial prize fund of $175,000 for both the Rapid and Blitz formats, with the top three prizes set at $40,000, $30,000, and $25,000, respectively.
