His victory earned him €5,000 and a return to the prestigious 2700 rating club. Notably, Maghsoodloo demonstrated remarkable resilience, particularly in round four where he executed a brilliant queen sacrifice to turn a challenging position into a win. Despite a blunder in round seven against Canadian player Dustin Koperski, he rebounded strongly with a decisive victory in the final round.
