American gymnast Simone Biles, a three-time Olympic gold medalist, faced a series of issues during the 2024 Paris Olympics. She was charged an exorbitant $26,000 for a champagne bottle at a Parisian club and criticized the "weird and awkward" atmosphere at the beam final, as well as the poor quality of food served at the athletes' village.
