IOC backs boxers who failed gender tests

Two boxers competing in the women's sport at the Paris Games who failed gender eligibility tests the previous year received support from the International Olympic Committee on Tuesday.

On Friday, Imane Khelif of Algeria will compete in the women's under 66 kg division, while on Saturday, Lin Yu Ting of Taiwan will make her debut in the under 57 kg class.
