On Sunday night at the Paris Olympics, Sophia Smith netted two goals to help the United States defeat Germany 4-1 and move on to the quarterfinals.

Moreover, the USWNT's Lynn Williams and Mallory Swanson scored as they overcame Zambia 3-0 in the first game.
