Gauff focused on collecting pins from LeBron

When Coco Gauff and fellow US flag carrier LeBron James carry the Stars and Stripes on a boat down the Seine at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on Friday, she said she is both excited and a little nervous to meet him for the first time.

The 20-year-old US Open champion, who will share the honor with four-time NBA champion LeBron James—whom she referred to as one of her idols—becomes the youngest-ever US flag bearer and the first American tennis player to receive the distinction.
