Bach targeted by hoax Russian calls - IOC

According to the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Olympic President Thomas Bach has been targeted by hoax phone calls from a Russian outfit posing as the African Union Commission.

The callers wanted to discuss Russia's participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

On Tuesday, the IOC barred Russian and Belarussian athletes from participating in the opening ceremony.
