Kwara United defeated El-Kanemi Warriors 2-0, while Enyimba and Enugu Rangers also secured vital victories in the NPFL.

Kwara United Football Club secured a convincing 2-0 victory against El-Kanemi Warriors at the Rashidi Yekini Main Bowl in Ilorin. Wasiu Alalade opened the scoring in the 39th minute, expertly converting a cross from Aimufua after a long pass from Akanni Akeem. The second goal came from substitute Wasiu Jimoh, who unleashed a powerful strike from approximately 30 yards, sealing the win for Kwara United. Despite the absence of Adekunle Segun due to suspension, the defensive unit, led by Kabir Muhammed and Yahaya Ibrahim, effectively neutralized the threats posed by the visitors.

In another match, Enyimba ended a five-match winless streak by defeating Lobi Stars 1-0 away from home. Ifeanyi Ihemekele scored the crucial goal in the 40th minute, propelling Enyimba to the 8th position on the NPFL table with 31 points from 21 matches. Their solid defensive performance ensured that Lobi Stars could not find an equalizer.

Defending champions Enugu Rangers bounced back from a recent slump, winning 2-0 against Ikorodu City. Veteran striker Godwin Obaje scored just before halftime, and Saviour Isaac added a second goal shortly before stoppage time. Despite the victory, Rangers International coach Fidelis Ilechukwu expressed concerns about their title chances, noting an 11-point gap from league leaders Remo Stars after 22 matches. Rangers currently sit in fourth place in the standings.

Other notable results from the match day included Bendel Insurance`s narrow 1-0 victory over Katsina United.
