Just like Zone B WAFU CAF Women Championship regional qualifiers, Zone A WAFU regional CAF Women Champions League Qualifiers also kicked on Saturday the city of Praia, Cape Verde.

The tournament involves four teams from Senegal, Mali, Liberia and Cape Verde

The first game of the campaign was between the host team, Seven Stars of Cape Verde and A. S. Mande-2 of Mali with Seven Stars coming from a 2 goal down to share spoils with As Mande while Determine Girls of Liberia record a 1-0 victory against Dar course of Senegal.
