In addition to their victory, Matchday 37 featured several notable results, including Plateau United`s 2-1 win against Lobi Stars and Akwa United`s 2-0 triumph over Bayelsa United. Sikiru Alimi, a Super Eagles invitee, made headlines by scoring his fifth goal of the season during the match against Ikorodu City.
