Remo Stars are on the brink of securing their first Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title, boasting an impressive eight-point lead as the season approaches its climax. Their consistent performance has put them in a commanding position, making them the team to beat in the league.

Heartland, however, has faced a challenging run with only two wins, three draws, and five losses in their last ten matches. They are set to clash with Enugu Rangers in the Federation Cup on April 2, 2025. Enugu Rangers currently sit fifth in the NPFL standings, accumulating 45 points from 31 matches, and will be looking to capitalize on Heartland`s struggles.
