Remo Stars lead the NPFL standings as Matchday 26 is postponed, with key player performances highlighted.

Matchday 26 of the Nigeria Premier Football League has been postponed due to the final marches of the President Federation Cup, set for February 23 and 24, 2025. The matches will now take place in the next midweek. As of Matchday 25, Remo Stars sit comfortably at the top of the standings, boasting a 10-point lead over second-placed Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC).

In their latest outing, Remo Stars secured a 2-0 victory against Kwara United, with late goals from substitutes Samuel Anakwe and Hadi Haruna. The chasing pack faltered, as 3SC drew 2-2 with bottom-placed Lobi Stars despite having a man advantage, while Rangers suffered a 1-0 defeat to Abia Warriors. Rivers United also dropped points, managing only a 1-1 draw against Akwa United after conceding a late equalizer.

Other notable results included Enyimba`s narrow 1-0 win over Rivers United, Kano Pillars defeating Abia Warriors 1-0, and Plateau United triumphing 2-0 against El Kanemi Warriors. Player performances have been highlighted by A. Yusuf from Nasarawa United leading the scoring charts with 13 goals, followed by R. Ali from Kano Pillars with 9 goals.
