Heartland FC defeated Shooting Stars 2-1 in a thrilling NPFL match, with key performances from Agor and Bassey.

Heartland FC of Owerri clinched a dramatic 2-1 victory against Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan on Match Day 24 at the Dan Anyiam Stadium. Chukwuma Agor opened the scoring for Heartland in the 31st minute, setting the stage for an intense encounter.

Although goalkeeper Mustapha Lawal initially saved the kick, it was retaken due to his premature movement off the line. John Bassey stepped up and converted the retaken penalty, sealing the victory for Heartland.
