The Philadelphia Eagles triumphed over the Kansas City Chiefs with a commanding 40-22 victory in Super Bowl 59, held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 9, 2025. Quarterback Jalen Hurts showcased his dual-threat capabilities, completing 20 of 28 passes for 246 yards, along with a touchdown and an interception. Hurts also made significant contributions on the ground, rushing for 72 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries.

Running back Saquon Barkley was a standout performer, amassing 118 rushing yards and scoring three touchdowns on just 15 attempts, solidifying the Eagles` ground game dominance. Wide receiver A.J. Brown emerged as Hurts` primary target, recording six receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, the Eagles were relentless, with defensive end Josh Sweat leading the charge with 2.5 sacks. On the other side, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes faced challenges, throwing for 257 yards, three touchdowns, but also two interceptions. Tight end Travis Kelce was Mahomes` go-to option, catching eight passes for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

This victory marks the Eagles` second Super Bowl title in franchise history and head coach Nick Sirianni`s first championship, capping off a remarkable 14-3 regular season. The Chiefs, despite a stellar 15-2 regular season, fell short in their quest for a third Super Bowl title in five years. The game attracted a record attendance of 65,848 fans, with millions more watching globally.
