Embiid to Miss Preseason Due to Left Knee Pain

Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers will not participate in preseason games due to pain in his left knee. The team announced this after he missed games against the Timberwolves and Celtics. Embiid is on an individualized treatment plan and recently lost 12 kg to reduce knee pressure. He will miss games against the Hawks, Nets, and Magic before the regular season starts on October 23.
