When Luka Doncic hit an absurd underhand shot against the Houston Rockets, he said afterward that his dexterity was due to him working as a bartender when he was younger. And this former bartender is quickly taking over the NBA.
He's risen to second on the MVP ladder, and is leading the league in scoring with 34 points a game. Luka is also averaging almost a triple-double with 9 rebounds and almost 10 assists a game.
In fact, Luka has 44 30-point triple-doubles in his career, which is more than Nikola Jokić, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, or James Harden. Only 2 others in NBA history have more.
Scoring just feels like a video game to the 25-year-old now, as he's upped his scoring average every year since 2020. Luka also has a 73-point masterpiece on his record, and has come in the top 10 for MVP voting in each of the past 4 years.
