Expected as the Messiah in the NBA, the young man's “highlights” already had millions of views across the Atlantic before his arrival in the United States. Drafted in first position, which had never happened for a French player, the expectation around him is immense. So much so that the jersey from his first match was put up for auction on Wednesday. While its price was estimated between $80,000 and $120,000, a much higher figure ultimately fell: $762,000.
