Pacers Edge Cavaliers in Thrilling Playoff Clash

The Pacers narrowly defeated the Cavaliers 120-119, with standout performances from Turner and Mitchell in the NBA Playoffs.

The Indiana Pacers secured a nail-biting victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of their Eastern Conference Semifinals, winning 120-119. Miles Turner and Aaron Neesmith were pivotal for the Pacers, each scoring 23 points, while Tyrese Haliburton contributed 19 points and nine rebounds. Benedict Matheran also added 19 points, and Andrew Nembhard posted a double-double with 13 points and 13 assists. Pascal Siakam chipped in with 12 points, showcasing the depth of the Pacers` roster.

On the Cavaliers` side, Donovan Mitchell was the standout performer, delivering a game-high 48 points along with nine assists. Max Strus supported with 23 points, while Jared Allen recorded a double-double with 22 points and 12 rebounds. Despite their efforts, the Cavaliers now find themselves trailing 2-0 in the best-of-seven series, with Game 3 set for May 10 at 7:30 a.m., where the Pacers will enjoy homecourt advantage.

In the Western Conference, the Golden State Warriors took a 1-0 lead over the Minnesota Timberwolves after defeating them 99-88 in Game 1 of their semifinal series. Buddy Hield led the Warriors with 24 points, and Jimmy Butler added a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Game 2 of this series is scheduled for May 8 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern on TNT/Max.
