Victor Wembanyama, the standout big man for the San Antonio Spurs, has been officially ruled out for the remainder of the 2024-25 NBA season due to deep vein thrombosis (DVT) in his right shoulder. This serious condition, identified after Wembanyama returned from the All-Star break, has raised concerns as he reported a significant lack of energy and abnormal sensations in his arm.

Before this setback, Wembanyama was having a stellar season, averaging 24.3 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and leading the league with 3.8 blocks over 48 games.
