Lando Norris from McLaren secured pole position for the Qatar Formula 1 sprint race, achieving the fastest qualifying time under the lights at the Losail circuit. With a temperature of only 18°C, he outpaced George Russell (Mercedes) by 63 milliseconds and teammate Oscar Piastri by 159 milliseconds.
