Alonso treated for infection but will race

Due to medical treatment for an intestinal ailment, Fernando Alonso will not be able to attend this weekend's Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
After becoming ill prior to the race weekend, the Aston Martin driver took a plane back to Europe after Sunday's Mexico City Grand Prix in order to consult a specialist.
According to Aston Martin, the two-time champion will miss Thursday's media day because his trip to Brazil has been delayed due to the additional day of treatment he had in Europe.
