Sainz to join Williams from 25 after Ferrari exit

Carlos Sainz, a Ferrari driver, will join Williams for the upcoming season under what the company refers to as a "multi-year" contract.

Due to the team's decision to hire Lewis Hamilton, who will arrive in 2019, the 29-year-old Spaniard has lost his position at Ferrari.

Sainz chose Williams over other options at Sauber and Alpine, which will in 2026 become the factory effort for Audi.
