Martin wins sprint race to stem Bagnaia run

Series leader Jorge Martin ended primary challenger Francesco Bagnaia's five-race winning streak on Saturday by winning the German MotoGP sprint race. This gave Martin an even bigger advantage in the championship.



After taking the lead earlier, Martin dropped to third on the first of the 15 circuits, but he quickly recovered the lead back, and the Spanish Ducati-Pramac rider went on to replicate his victory from the previous year.
