Even when victory is not assured, Max Verstappen can still emerge victorious. The three-time world champion demonstrated this at Montreal, where he finished ahead of Lando Norris (McLaren) and George Russell (Mercedes). While Norris had been leading, Verstappen benefited from a safety car intervention, which trapped Norris, allowing Verstappen to cruise to his third consecutive win on Montreal's Île Notre-Dame circuit, the 60th of his career.
