Ferrari recruit D’Ambrosio and Serra from Mercedes

Mercedes has added two well-known players to Ferrari.

Engineer Loic Serra has taken up the role of head of chassis performance engineering at Ferrari, while former Formula 1 driver Jerome d'Ambrosio has been promoted to deputy team principal.

Last year, D'Ambrosio served as an adviser for Mercedes under the direction of team principal Toto Wolff, who was preparing him for a senior position by exposing him to all facets of the company.
