Deagen Fairclough seeks GB3 success after winning the Silverstone award, while Bradley Ray dominates British Superbikes testing.

Deagen Fairclough, the 18-year-old British driver, is poised to continue his impressive momentum in the GB3 Championship following a stellar 2024 season in British Formula 4. Having clinched nearly half of the races last year, Fairclough`s confidence is further bolstered by his recent victory in the Silverstone Autosport BRDC Young Driver Award, which comes with a £200,000 career fund and a coveted test in an Aston Martin Formula 1 car. As the GB3 season kicks off at Silverstone this weekend, he aims to replicate the success of reigning champion Louis Sharp by securing back-to-back titles.

In British Superbikes, Bradley Ray of Raceways Yamaha showcased his dominance during the official Oulton Park test sessions, topping all three sessions with a best lap time of 1:34.700. He was closely followed by Josh Brookes from DAO Racing Honda and Danny Kent of McAMS Racing Yamaha. The track conditions improved throughout the day, setting the stage for an exciting season ahead. Notably, reigning champion Kyle Ryde finished 14th in the session, indicating a competitive field.

Meanwhile, in the British Quadcross Championship at Warmingham, Walker achieved a remarkable triple victory, with Paul Edgar and Tom Day rounding out the podium. Additionally, Nielsen Racing is making strides in the Euroformula Open series, featuring drivers Finley Green, Edward Pearson, and Shawn Rashid, as they aim for success in the European Le Mans Series.
