Oscar Piastri clinched his third victory of the 2025 Formula 1 season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, showcasing impressive skill at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit. After Max Verstappen received a penalty, Piastri seized the opportunity to overtake him, propelling his McLaren to the front and allowing him to surpass teammate Lando Norris in the drivers` standings.

Verstappen, who started from pole position, had a narrow edge over Piastri in qualifying, clocking in just 0.010 seconds faster. However, the race unfolded with fierce competition, and Piastri`s performance proved decisive. Lando Norris, despite a crash in Q3 that forced him to start from 10th, demonstrated resilience by finishing fourth, executing late overtakes on fresher tires.

Charles Leclerc joined the fray, finishing ahead of Mercedes` George Russell, who ended up in fifth. Kimi Antonelli claimed sixth, while Lewis Hamilton struggled with grip issues, finishing seventh. Williams drivers Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon secured valuable points by finishing eighth and ninth, respectively, with Isack Hadjar of Racing Bulls rounding out the points in tenth.

The race was marked by first-corner drama, as Yuki Tsunoda and Pierre Gasly collided, leading to both drivers` retirements and the deployment of the Safety Car.
