Wayne Broadhurst showcased his dominance at Round 1 of the 2025 Formula Grasstrack Championship, held at Sparrington Farm, by winning all six qualifying heats and the Senior A final. This remarkable clean sweep not only secured him a perfect score but also the prime gate pick for the next round. Mid-event, Broadhurst was tied with Adam Hawker and Den Edwards, but his consistent performance allowed him to pull ahead.

Kevin Gwillam made a strong comeback with multiple heat victories, finishing second in the Senior A final. Andrew Rowson, despite a last-place finish in the final race, managed to secure third overall. In the Cubs final, debutant C. Ratcliffe claimed victory, followed by Kaylem Bourne in second. The Cadet class saw Dakota Wright emerge victorious over Albie South, who had earlier achieved three consecutive heat wins despite battling illness. Levi Collins dominated the Autos class, winning all heats and the final.

The E-Bike class featured Reggie Goodwin`s debut, where he won all heats but fell short in the final against JJ Falconer. The event attracted motorsport enthusiasts, with the next round scheduled for May 17 at Alveley. Meanwhile, the 2025 FIM Endurance World Championship kicked off with the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans, where YART Yamaha aims to reclaim their title.
