OMG Racing Returns to BSB with Kyle Ryde

OMG Racing returns to BSB with Kyle Ryde, while BTCC`s 2025 season features intense competition among top drivers.

OMG Racing, the reigning champions of the British Superbike Championship (BS, have reversed their earlier decision to withdraw from the series due to financial difficulties. They have secured a partnership with Nitrous Competitions, enabling them to continue their title defense with rider Kyle Ryde. This development adds excitement to the upcoming season as they aim to reclaim their championship status.

In a contrasting move, FHO Racing has ceased its BSB operations, but rider Ilya Mikhalchik is set to join a new BMW team in the Pirelli National Superstock Championship, marking a significant transition in his career. Meanwhile, Raceways Motorcycles is making a surprising return to the BSB with Bradley Ray, the 2022 champion who previously rode for OMG Racing.

The British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) has officially launched its 2025 season with a competitive lineup of 24 cars. Josh Cook emerged as the fastest driver in the final pre-season test at Donington Park, narrowly beating Ash Sutton by just 0.003 seconds. The season promises fierce competition among several former champions, including Jake Hill, Ash Sutton, and Gordon Shedden, all vying for the coveted title. The BTCC season opener is scheduled for April 26-27 at Donington Park.

In the British Historic Rally Championship, David Crossen celebrated his first victory at the Carlisle Stages, driving a Ford Escort Mk2 to a commanding win, finishing 50 seconds ahead of the competition.
