Singapore Touring Car Challenge Crowns New Champions

The STCC 2025 revived Singapore`s motorsports scene, with Justin Toh and Terence Lee emerging as champions.

The Singapore Touring Car Challenge (STCC) 2025 made a thrilling return to the motorsports scene from March 13 to 15 at the Sepang International Circuit, marking the revival of circuit racing in Singapore after a decade-long absence. This event served as a support race for the prestigious Motul 12 Hours of Sepang Endurance Race, showcasing the excitement of local talent on an international stage.

In the fiercely contested races, Justin Toh clinched victory in the Production Stock category driving the 80 Bae Racing-AGI Singapore Honda Jazz, while Terence Lee triumphed in the other category with his 333 Team R-Engineering Suzuki Swift. The event featured 12 skilled drivers competing across two Production Stock categories, with strong backing from Motor Sports Singapore (MSS), Giti Tire, and Motul.

Among the standout performances was 16-year-old Joshua Berry, who made his car racing debut, showcasing the next generation of talent in Singapore`s motorsports landscape. Unfortunately, Gladys Lam, the only female racer in the competition, faced mechanical issues that hindered her performance during the race. The STCC not only highlighted the competitive spirit of the participants but also reignited interest in motorsports in Singapore. For more insights on the Singapore Touring Car Challenge and the broader context of motorsports in Singapore, fans can stay tuned for future events.
