According to UFC president Dana White, the organization won't choose Conor McGregor's comeback opponent until he is able to commit to a new bout date.
The Irishman had to pull out of his June bout against American Michael Chandler because to a toe ailment.
Since Chandler, 38, was rescheduled to fight Charles Oliveira in November, many fans have speculated that McGregor could not be able to compete in 2024.
